We had traveled to Japan many times, and every time my husband persuaded me to try fresh salmon, I begged off. You might ask me why I have a change of heart now. Presentation-wise, I am pretty impressed with how the Premium Salmon Cake is meticulously arranged in heart-shape, a timely perfect alternative gift this coming Mother’s day. It is properly packaged in a golden box and can be delivered right to your doorstep.

The serving size is so generous and great, the slices are thick. It really filled us up nicely for dinner. (Watch out for our Mukbang Vlog soon) The price is very reasonable too.

I had tried eating raw salmon from other stores before and it was an awful experience. Thanks to Salmon HQ, they definitely set the bar high and take their salmon sashimi a notch higher than from any salmon store. The moment I gulped down my first piece of sashimi, I was amazed that it has no fishy taste and very juicy. I am not a sushi expert but it tasted like sweet authentic Japanese sashimi.

Aside from the Premium Salmon Cake, Salmon HQ also sells different flavors of Sushi bake. As Sushi bake becomes the latest gastronomic trend among Filipinos, I have tasted the most common flavor from several stores– the California Sushi Bake. But Salmon HQ’s recipe comes with a crunchy top which I really like and it has a generous amount of ingredients including mango, crab meat, and Japanese rice. Every bite melts in my mouth and the flavor explodes with creamy taste.

Unagi Madness Sushi Bake is my top favorite. I love that the flavor is a mix of sweet and salty. Every spoonful has a generous size of Unagi and other ingredients. Overall, it is a wonderful treat and a very pleasant surprise to my taste bud.

Aburi Salmon Scallops Ebi Sushi Bake is my husband’s best choice. He said that the combination of different kinds of seafood in a tray was really a game-changer for Sushi bake. I personally like it too because it was my first time eating scallops and I was immediately blown away because it was seasoned perfectly. Definitely, other sushi stores will find it hard to beat this one.

Soft Shell Crab and Ebi Sushi Bake come with a surprise on top, a whole crablet that you can easily munch. The layer is a sumptuous pack of Japanese rice stuffed with shrimp and delicious ingredients. It is a bit spicy but exceptional.

PASTA BY SALMON HQ

Salmon HQ also serves Seafood Wafu Pasta, a Japanese-style pasta with shrimp, scallops, and salmon. It is incredibly delicious and I highly recommend this to pasta lovers who have Japanese flavor cravings.

Raw salmon is a healthy and perfect option for health-conscious people like me. It has high Omega-3 fatty acid, known as “good fats”, that is good for the heart. I can say that the foods from Salmon HQ are excellent, and the prices aren’t too high. We really got a lot of bang for our bucks.
