Travel Tour Expo 2018, why not miss it? Of course, it is the talk of the town for travelers or travel magnets like us and if you’ve been hunting for those very low crazy travel deals, cheap airfares, piso fares, discounted hotel accommodations and sulit tour packages, then you better come and join the expo. The upcoming expo will mark its 25th year organized by Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA).
Last year was the first time we visited the travel expo and it was so overwhelming that people were running around to find the best deal among hundreds of exhibitors, not to mention the deal package that we closed and we’d received from the participating agencies and partners of the organizer.
We were scouting for Japan travel package tour back then until we bumped into Reli Tours booth. They were offering 50% discount on Japan Visa Processing dropping the price from P1000 to P500 and we thought that was a great deal and we would save hundreds of pesos for visa. So without hesitation, we bought and then fast forward, thankfully we got our visa approved. READ MORE ABOUT HOW WE GOT APPROVED JAPAN VISA
Aside from travel deals, we took home bunch of freebies such as bags, discounted coupons, foods, pens, etc. So for paying only P70 entrance fee, it was really worth the price and the experience was awesome.
In the event, you’ll also see lot of travel bloggers and personalities on stage that will entertain you while you’re going crazy on travel deals, and there maybe raffles if the organizer deems so.
Some of the participating exhibitors are the biggest airlines in the country and international such as Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia, SkyJet, China Airlines, Jetstar Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airlines, etc.
HERE ARE THE PARTICIPATING EXHIBITORS

Travel Tour Expo 2018, why not miss it?
The organizer noted that the Halls 1-4 are located on the ground floor while the Function Rooms are the ones in the second level.
Before going to this expo, take note of these things:
- List down the things that you’re looking for such as hotel, airfare, tour package, etc
- Look at the participating exhibitors and know their locations.
- Eat before you go or bring your food and water. There will be food kiosks inside the expo tour that showcase some of Filipino dishes, but with expected throngs of attendees, the chance of getting a good seat and table is minimal.
- Bring money or credit credit cards.
- Don’t bring big or bulky bags. (Siksikan doon) For more comfortable and easy travel deals hunting, bring a small pouch where you put your list, money and cards.
And remember that before closing a deal, go around the halls and look for the best travel agents or dealer. So see you this weekend and I hope you’ll find the travel or vacation deal you’ve been praying for.

Wow that was a great team of travel agents, hotels, and airlines that showed up in the expo. I certainly missed it. How do you keep an eye on upcoming expos? I would like to know.
I hope there is something like this in India and if there is I am looking forward to attend it.I cant wait t hear your travel stories from Japan
Hi, before I comment on your post, I noticed that there are too many spam messages in the comment section. I recommend that you use Akismet (if you haven’t yet), so you can filter them. It’s quite helpful in removing those spammy comments.
Anyway, back to your topic, I don’t think I’ve attended travel expo before because I am daunted by the crowd. I don’t know if I have the patience to go around or wait in queues. But I know most friends get amazing travel deals from attending events like this, especially for Batanes. I’m not sure when the next travel expo would be but I’d like to give it a chance. Maybe it’s the only way I could make my Batanes dream come true.
I too attend these travel summits in India. While I am not completely in awe of them, I think its always worth a visit to stay in sync with the industry. Earlier I used to go to find some new place/hotel and I can think of a couple of such trips that started because i went to the summit. Over the years, as I have become a professional travel blogger, I go there to see if I can partner with tourism boards/hotel chains/OTA’s. It takes some time, but I think the rewards will show up in a few years!
Good article. I will be facing some of these issues as well..
Thanks for sharing such valuable post. I’ll be looking forward to the deals when going to travel the next time.
