Makati City is known for upscale shopping malls such as SM Makati which offers high fashion brands, department stores, and food stalls. And recently, an exciting addition to the line of restaurants in this mall had its grand launch– Mary Grace Cafe finds its new home in SM Makati.
This is the 51st branch which is located on the second floor near the MRT entrance, a high vantage point to attract hungry shoppers and commuters.
Great Food, Great Location
Home to its signature ensaymada, cheese rolls, and chocolate drink, Mary Grace Cafe in SM Makati also offers hearty meals such as pasta, sandwiches, soups, and dishes that will warm not only your tummy but also your heart.
Adjacent to SM Department Store, shoppers who are tired and hungry can definitely find a good spot in this cozy resto.
People who are rushing to the MRT after a tiring day can drop by to buy freshly-baked pastries as pasalubong for their loved ones. And during rainy days, everyone is welcome to sit and sip a hot chocolate, which is best paired with ensaymada or cheese rolls.
When we visited the branch, I had the Seafood Pasta, an oil-based pasta stuffed with different kinds of seafood such as shrimp, fish fillet, clams, and more.
Sophia had her favorite Fish and Bell Pepper Sandwich. It was nice to know that they asked my daughter to taste test the spread and choose what type of dressing to put in.
Surprisingly, Daddy J.I. got his Toasted Vigan Longganisa, with special vinegar and sunny side up egg. It is a nice change from his usual Tapsilog (though for me, both silogs are good and tasty)
Then, we took home a box of cheeserolls because it is Kenshin’s favorite.
The place can accommodate from 50 to 100 people. And though Mary Grace Cafe continues to expand and grow, they still stick to their homey interior of bricks and wind chimes, which I really find amusing.
